The main conference program will consist of talks and poster presentations of the latest research from the Neuroergonomics community. This will cover findings, methods, real-world deployment and implementation, and more.

We have invited keynotes on technological advances that are expected to change the way we live and work, such as virtual reality, automated driving, and wearable computing.

In addition, there will plenary talks from leading neuroscientists and human factors researchers that will set the tone for the parallel tracks of research presentations.

NEC-2021 will also feature expert panels , comprising of leading figures from academia and industry. These panels will address pressing issues, such as “Ethics of AI in Neurotechnologies” and “Safety of Vehicle Automation”.

Finally, the conference will be preceded by Tutorials and Workshops that will allow for researchers to discuss challenges that they face in their own research, in a more intimate setting.

There will be numerous opportunities to meet familiar colleagues and to be acquainted with new researchers. Networking events include a welcome reception, mentor-mentee activities, special interest groups (SIGs), inclusivity discussions, and a “Jeffersonian Dinner”.

We look forward to hosting you for the Neuroergonomics Conference 2021 (Munich, Germany).
